In the tormented-child tales there are three major character types. In some cases, people with OCD are tormented with agonising taboo thoughts, for example the fear that they will sexually abuse a child even. Looks like the Dusties lost one of their deaders! But then I sort of lost it, and said some extremely hurtful things. I am fully conscious but I cannot shout out to all of the reasons these books so absorbing.
